The Sports Hall (34m x 17m x 7m)
An attractive, large multi-purpose sports hall, marked out for all major games and sports. The Sports Hall has a sprung wooden floor and incorporates 5-a-side football goals, badminton nets and one full size basketball court. The Sports Hall also has a dividing net to allow different activities to take place simultaneously.
Indoor Cricket Nets
Tavistock College has now installed two single bay cricket nets which can be hired. The nets are 24 metres long and have a 10 metre carpet surface.
Climbing Wall
Within the Sports Hall is an 18 ft climbing wall. The wall has been modified and now has four different routes varying in difficulty.
All Weather Pitch
Our new third generation FA approved synthetic rubber crumb football pitch is now open and available for hire. The pitch can be hired as a whole or can be divided up with nets into thirds for 5 or 7-a-side football. The 3G surface can be used for football, rugby and hockey practice.
Floodlit Match Grass Pitch
Athletics Track
The flood lit competition 6 lane athletics track can be hired on a regular basis by clubs or can be used on a casual basis by gym members.

The Gym is a large bright hall which is equipped with various climbing apparatus. The gym also has 6 basketball rings and a marked out badminton court.
Swimming Pool (25m x 8m)
This appealing, open outdoor heated swimming pool is open between the months of April – September. The pool can be hired out by groups for weekly swimming training, swimming galas, competitions or individual events. Alternatively the swimming pool can be booked for hosting a summer children’s birthday event.
Hard Courts Outdoor Pitch
This floodlit multi-purpose pitch can be hired on a regular basis by clubs or alternatively, casual users can make use of this versatile pitch for training purposes. During the summer terms the hard-court area is equipped with four full size tennis courts.

We have a range of outdoor pitches including football, mini soccer and rugby which are all available for hire
